Guest Arthur Fuqs-Aches
Yes that's fucking right. It might seem harmless enough - it always does on the surface - however, the 'Get your sovereigns, overpriced gold and £5 coin rackets during such a crisis need getting shot of now. Quite how forking out a hundred quid for this tat cheers you up is beyond me. And the tsunami of charity muggers ordering you to fork out a fixed sum of money (into a contract of course) can fuck off with them. Arthur never helps or gives to the needy anyway so they're flogging a famished donkey all round .

Guest Arthur Fuqs-Aches
Yes they do and my buying my daughter a Peter Rabbit book resulted in them fucking me over for another 12 of them. I didn't know Beatrix Potter approved of such a racket. Even threatened to send in the recovery goons if I fucked them off.

I had what seemed to be reasonable £5 a month for one book from a specialised list .. all went well for six months and then I started getting you might also like this list selections. Then one delivery also contained two unsolicited sample books from other lists repackaged those books and sent them back without looking at them further. I then recieved a £10 invoice for those books .. I wrote back to say that I had not ordered them to which they replied that the books had been damaged and sent me further invoice for £12. I then cancelled my subscription. I then received another invoice for early cancellation and further threats. I then went to the citizens advice who told me that the same individuals and companies seem to behind a lot of similar rackets and who gave me a standard form letter to send to them. The threats ceased but I them kept getting "we have missed you cards" inviting me to rejoin and to other clubs such as coin and pottery collecting. Dave Umbongo
While there are gullible and foolish fucktards using up vital oxygen on the planet then these schemes will still persist. I have never subscribed to any such mail order club, obviously.

and
It would seem that I'm the only skinflint who fucked over the book and cd sellers. I got The Penguin TV Companion, a very interesting book, with information about most British tv programmes broadcast up to the time it was published, and me cancelling my subscription. Also managed to keep hold of a David Bowie greatest hits cd, because the stupid cunts sent me two copies, I returned one and promptly cancelled my subscription. Win, win. A friend of mine is a dab hand at dealing With these cunts. He's a solicitor and knows all the little tricks that can be pulled to send these clowns scurrying.
