Miles
No not Sherlock's biographer .. but an elderly American Scientist who has been stripped of his well deserved honours at 90 years of age for suggesting that there is evidence that Africans in general might not be as intelligent as other races. Whilst he might well be wrong it is important that honest scientific study and debate is allowed to rationalise its findings. As an aside it might be of interest that the trajectory for the first US astronaut to go into orbit was computed by an African American woman, so there might be no simple answer. Hey - let's try and reduce it to one though!

I suspect that trying preserve their "culture" and "heritage" is the real issue holding people back, certainly in what is now the UK the real advances came from the 1720s onwards where we started to release ourselves from the restrictions imposed by outdated religious beliefs. Dave Umbongo
Sounds reasonable to me. We ought to get somebody trustworthy and competent to look into it. Dr Gillian McKeith sounds ideal. Fucking load of bollox and fuck off Flemmy.

That was a freak of nature, a once in a millennium occurrence, don't let it spoil a good nomination, you're almost pandering to the snowflake, Guardian readers. Africans are obviously fucking dum asses. Whilst we build great cities and sailed the oceans centuries ago, the Africans hardly got beyond sticking a shap pointy thing on the end of a stick and wearing an animal skin. To quote Zulu, “bunch of savages isn’t it”. And that’s coming from Roops grandad, a Welshman. Edited January 17, 2019 by N/A

Not strictly correct there is evidence in several places of cities built by ancient African civilisations. The Zulus were also very well organised as a fighting force and far from being savages as the British learned the hard way.
