CCArchive
Ann Copeland, 45, and daughters Ciara, seven, and Niamh, 10, from Johnshaven, died after their car skidded on the A92 in Aberdeenshire in January 2008. It turned out that the road was covered in hydraulic oil that had leaked from a mobile crane. The crane was traced and found to have not had regular checks. Part of the problem is mobile cranes and many other large vehicle used in the building and construction industry are not required to have annual MOT or other regular test to permit them to be used on the public highway. This is I think a cunt.
