I'd like to be optimistic about her safe return but I'm not. With the exception of Megan Stammers who ran away with her nonce of her own volition, these missing kids just do not come home alive. It seems it's been that way for years too and the media saturation of these events is so intense that I cannot understand why parents are leaving their kids out unattended. April is only five years old, why is she out on the streets at 7PM without any adult supervision. The answer can only be that the parents are thinking that it couldn't happen to their kids.
