Nothing wrong with that in-itself, but its all become a commercial gimmick. The real spirit of barmy adventure has been lost in a sea of promotion. Alain Robert, to use his real name, is now often commissioned to climb new buildings to draw attention to them. He climbs, the TV cameras follow, and Voila, you have free TV advertising. Robert has just climbed the Fortaleza tower in China. To comply with health and safety regulations he used suction cups, mechanical ascenders and a safety rope. Sanitized cheating. French cunt!
