The piece finely details the subjugation of Proserpina and her helplessness at the hands of an all powerful deity. Proserpina's pain and anguish are etched into her face in chilling detail, tears rolling from her eyes and a silent whispered prayer to her mother. All of it lost in the face of the relentless and undeniable power of Pluto as he strides powerfully and triumphantly into Hades with his three headed dog Cerberus by his side.
